Making more news abroad than we did while IN Charlotte

Funny that one family gets more attention away from town than when in it.  WCNC and News14 have both picked up the story about how the government shutdown is affecting our family.  We certainly understand that many others are more deeply and gravely affected by this dilemma, but we do miss our dog and want her back!  Our new house will not feel like 'home' until we're all together ...
